The project involves the complete rebuild of an E30 M3 according to the 1989 Group A DTM regulations. The car will be equipped with a powerful 2.3-liter inline 4-cylinder engine (S14) delivering over 300 hp at around 8,000 rpm. The overall vehicle weight will be reduced to approximately 1,100 kg to maximize agility and performance on the racetrack.

The car will feature a reinforced chassis, specialized racing suspension and braking systems, as well as a body that meets the aerodynamic requirements of Group A. Additionally, the vehicle will be adorned with an iconic BTCC livery, giving it a distinctive visual identity.

Upon completion, the car will receive an official vehicle passport and an FIA Historical Technical Passport (HTP) to certify its authenticity and compliance with historic racing regulations. The goal is to create an authentic race car that reflects the historic performance and design of the DTM era on the track.
